From one CSV to a human review

Confirm the dates. Keep the source.

  1. 01

    Import and confirm

Use a minimized UTF-8 CSV. Confirm the exact grouping identifier, source columns, date interpretation and elapsed-duration range.

  2. 02

    Review explained rows

Inspect original cells beside flags for missing times, repeated rows or overlaps. Record Checked, Follow-up needed or Unresolved with your notes.

  3. 03

    Keep the review outputs

Download reviewed and unresolved CSVs alongside the raw audit JSON. Filters change the view, not which retained source rows are exported.

Original identifiers. Explicit interpretation.

Know which time
the file means.

IDs remain exact text, including leading zeros, case and spaces. ISO mode requires timestamps with explicit offsets or Z; local dates are not assigned the reviewing computer’s timezone.

The explicit Clockify Detailed mode maps four distinct Start Date, Start Time, End Date and End Time columns, an exact date format and the checked exporter profile’s source IANA timezone. Both dates and 24-hour times are required.

Shared Date + local clocks mode instead confirms Date as the Clock In date. Bare Clock Out uses that date; only the literal suffix +1d, one ASCII space then +1d, advances to the next calendar date. Choose the exact date format, verify one source IANA timezone for every row, record its context basis and confirm the semantics. Unknown zone or context blocks analysis.

Understand date interpretation
Leave uncertainty visible

No guessed daylight-saving times.

Repeated or nonexistent local times remain unresolved. A calendar-day advance is not an added 24 elapsed hours. Unmarked reversed intervals stay negative; missing values and unsupported markers remain unresolved. Mixed-zone files and 12-hour times remain outside the supported interpretation.

Clockify still needs both original dates. These explicit modes are not a PHIT preset or provider-wide support. Split local dates require supported native timezone features in Chrome 144 or later; a fresh provider-generated Clockify export has not yet been validated for this release.

Elapsed duration and exception flags do not determine wages, breaks, payable hours, payroll approval or employee conduct.

Staff files need deliberate handling

An encrypted save.
Readable review files.

PunchScope retains the complete CSV and every original cell, including unmapped columns. Include only what this review needs; remove unrelated pay, health, address, message and secret data before opening.

Save locally deliberately encrypts one browser-profile copy with your phrase, including the source, settings, reviewer and current decisions. The 8 MiB encrypted limit includes overhead; the controls can read an existing saved copy up to 10 MiB, including compatible older plaintext saves. There is no autosave or localhost saving fallback.

Restore prepares a matching review or a fresh unreviewed copy before final consent. Successful replacement clears row Undo. Older plaintext remains plaintext until successfully replaced or deleted; Delete saved affects a separate copy and cannot be undone.

CSV, audit and saved-history JSON remain readable staff data. Encrypted history needs the phrase and preserves unverified historical evidence without current Temporal re-audit. There is no audit/history-file restore or developer phrase recovery.
