No reviewed cost appears
Complete and apply the request first. Check every offer's exact specification, usable unit, GBP currency and VAT / tax basis. Fill in pack size, positive pack price, minimum whole packs and delivery. Blank delivery is unknown; enter 0 only when free delivery was quoted.
Then enter a reviewer name and confirm the compatible offers after checking the quotes. An unconfirmed cost can be visible on a card without entering the lowest reviewed cost summary. Incomplete and incompatible offers remain excluded.
The specification or tax basis differs
The tool cannot establish product equivalence or calculate tax conversions. Check the original offer and correct an entry only when the source supports it. Supplier abbreviations, case differences and different unit names may fail the exact-text check. Keep incompatible offers visible and unresolved rather than relabelling them to force a result.
A price or quantity is rejected
Use dot-decimal numbers. Do not include a currency sign, thousands separator or exponent. Quantities allow up to six decimal places; GBP prices allow up to two. Pack sizes and requested quantities must be positive. Minimum packs must be a whole number of at least one. Delivery can be zero, but pack price cannot.
The tool rounds required packs upward and then applies the minimum whole packs. It adds delivery once for that alternative order. It does not calculate discounts, delivery thresholds, currency conversion, tax amounts or a split between suppliers.
A CSV will not import
Start from CSV template and retain its exact headers. Use UTF-8 comma-separated text, correctly quoting commas or line breaks inside fields. Unknown or duplicate headers, unequal field counts and invalid text encoding are rejected. The import plus existing offers must stay within 200 offers, and each input CSV must be no more than 2 MB.
The import preview shows incomplete or incompatible rows before you add them. Adding an import keeps the existing offers and confirms none automatically. The exported comparison CSV has a different report schema and is not an import template. Use Restore audit file to reopen a complete exported workspace.
A confirmation disappeared
Editing an offer requires a fresh confirmation, even when the original captured values are retained. Applying a changed request invalidates earlier confirmations. Undo may restore a previous request and its matching review records; check that restored state before exporting.
A restore or save failed
For Restore audit file, use an unchanged raw audit exported by this product. The audit limit is 8,000,000 bytes. If an integrity, format or version check fails, keep the original export and your current work. Manually editing JSON is not a supported way to update a quote.
For an encrypted Restore local save, use the exact passphrase, including spaces, case and characters. A wrong phrase or damaged saved copy cannot be unlocked by the developer. Failure or cancellation keeps the current workspace. A separately kept valid raw audit can restore its own captured workspace, but cannot unlock the encrypted copy.
The saved browser copy is limited to 8 MiB including encryption overhead. Encryption overhead can make a supported workspace too large to save. Quota, permission or storage failures keep the previous saved copy; no offers or notes are removed to make it fit. Keep the current tab open and export a readable raw audit if saving fails.
An older unencrypted save requires the labelled Open older unencrypted save choice. It stays plaintext until a successful encrypted save replaces it or you delete it. If another cooperating tab changed the saved copy, reopen the dialog before retrying a save or delete. Native crypto and lock availability are required for the corresponding save operations.
There is one local save per browser profile. Saving again replaces it, and unsaved changes are lost when the tab closes or reloads. Clear workspace, Delete local save and deleting a downloaded file are separate actions. Delete local save cannot be undone. The extension cannot recover a download you deleted or a local save removed with the extension.
Preparing an issue report
Include the extension and Chrome versions, the exact error, the action that caused it, and a small fictional request and set of offers with the expected result. For import issues, include the header and a fictional row. Avoid sending confidential supplier terms, full audits, customer data, passwords or tokens. Crop screenshots to the relevant fields.
This preview has no account, checkout, licence activation or subscription to restore.
Contact AK Frames
Pack & Freight is published under the display name AK Frames. For product or privacy questions, email akframesltd@gmail.com.
Sending email is your choice. Your sender details, message and any attachments go to AK Frames and the email providers that handle delivery and storage. Send a small fictional request and offer that reproduce the issue. Never send a passphrase, credentials, confidential supplier quote, full audit or unrelated personal information. The extension does not automatically attach or send your data; the website and support privacy notice describes this separate email handling.
